This tour offers visitors a unique sense of place of Shanghai with a classic route good for sightseers and discerned travelers alike. With a rich history of over 500 years, City God Temple of Shanghai is the most significant Taoist temple in Shanghai. The lofty temple consists of 9 halls where various statues of immortals that are believed to be in charge of certain aspect of human life receive endless worship. Besides it, there stands the representative classic Yu Garden and world of handicrafts and traditional art works offered by the Yu Garden Bazaar. Then, stroll to the Bund to discover its colonial buildings and skyscrapers.


The Bund is a mile-long stretch of waterfront promenade along the Huangpu River. To the west of this stretch stands 52 buildings of various architectural styles, including Gothic, Baroque, and Neo-classical styles. It is often referred as 'the museum of buildings'. Roaming among the architectural complexes, one will have a better understanding of the century-long charm of Shanghai.
